6/4/13: The U.S. Department of State has issued an Emergency Message to U.S. citizens due to the demonstrations that began last week in Turkey. Michigan State University is closely monitoring the situation and does not anticipate any program changes at this time. MSU students, faculty and staff who are currently abroad or planning to study or travel in Turkey are advised to maintain a high level of vigilance, take appropriate steps to enhance their personal security, and follow instructions of local authorities.
