HOME...
Oh I dreamed of the days I would be coming home.
Seeing old friends, sharing the times we had missed together,
...only that isn't so.
...only that isn't so.
I have seen the friends of old, and talked of the years,
But....................
there is something missing,
something different about the people I so fondly remembered.
They are not bad, that is not the case at all.
It is just that they are different,
or perhaps it is I who is different.
What was once such a familiar place, is now so foreign,
like my first time away from here.
How I longed to be here,
and how I now long to be back there.
I will always have my memories of both places,
the question is just, where will I remember those times.
Here, or there?"
