In Uganda, we were exposed to a handful of different habituated species that adapted and lived closely around human populations.
Because I am interested in captive animal behavior, I feel it was very beneficial for me to observe different animals in the wild so that I can make a comparison between natural behaviors and behaviors seen in captivity.
I turned around, and saw about eight dark shadows in the near distance. We finally found them: the gorillas. Tears immediately came to my eyes as I stared at these giant, beautiful creatures in awe.
