Crisis Management Workshop for Study Abroad Program Leaders
What would YOU do? Understanding and Managing Student Alcohol Consumption

When alcohol consumption affects student behavior and achievement during your study abroad program, there are many things you should do as a program leader.  Join us in discussion with Rebecca Allen, Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs  (ATOD) Health Educator from Olin Health Center, as she shares the alcohol consumption behaviors of today’s college students and talks about national trends. The workshop will include suggested strategies for having effective conversations with your students about alcohol consumption.  In addition, various campus experts from General Counsel, the Travel Clinic, the Counseling Center and Judicial Affairs will be available to answer questions about disciplinary action, legal liability, emergency medical needs, counseling and student suspension.
