MSU Dept. of Linguistics and Germanic, Slavic, Asian, and African Languages
This Department offers undergraduate degree programs in Linguistics, German, Russian, and East Asian Languages and Cultures (with an emphasis on either Japanese or Chinese). Graduate programs are available in Linguistics (MA and PhD). In addition, the department offers undergraduate language programs in Arabic, Hausa, Hebrew, Hindi, Korean, Nepali, Ojibwe (Anishinaabemowiin), Swahili, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
MSU Dept. of Spanish & Portuguese
The Department offers graduate programs in Spanish, including the MA in Hispanic Literatures, MA in Spanish Applied Linguistics, and PhD in Hispanic Cultural Studies. They also offer internships and work abroad programs.
U.S. Department of State
The U.S. State Department offers internships and opportunities as Foreign Service officers and State Department civil servants.
